I'm Jeff Comegys, the Founder of Maryland Insurance Plans. We operate based on the premise of offering our family of clients the best possible coverage. I started out in the insurance business working as a captive agent for two very large national carriers. Both were great companies, but naturally they only wanted me to sell their own coverage. I soon realized the best way to serve my clients, was to become an Independent agent so I could do what's best for my client and not for the insurance company.
My goal is to offer true One-Stop Shopping with a wide variety of top carriers and plans. Shopping for insurance can be confusing, I'm here to make your experience a pleasant one and most importantly, ensure you have the right protection for yourself and your family.

We are located in the Ellicott City area of Howard County where I have spent the last 38 years. When not helping clients, I'm spending time with my wife and daughter (that's her in the picture with me). 7 year olds can really keep you busy!
